Part of a series of very cool acts jammed in to the middle of very cool events at The Duchess.  Which is, of course, in itself a very cool thing indeed.

Doors open 10.30pm as per normal for Up The Racket resident DJs bringing you the original all-singing, all-dancing, hit-the-ground-running indie electro rave 'n' roll nights.  But with a bit of bonus ...

And it's lusciously sad laptop folk with a dancefloor pulse, 25 yr-old 'Folktronica' singer/songwriter JY is a bit Postal Service a bit Patrick Wolf; fuzzy synths and bleeps with acoustic guitar and plaintive paeons. "A little melancholia and a lot of talent" - NME.  Pictured below at Radio 1 Big Weekend.  On stage around midnight!
