Bursting out of Vegas in 2002 (and yes, this promoter brought them to York on May Bank Holiday weekend 2004), Brandon Flowers and chums drew heavily on the 80s and finally broke with debut album Hot Fuss which was full of great tunes Mr Brightside, Somebody Told Me, Smile Like You Mean It, Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine and All These Things That I've Done. And all of which things this terrific tribute does as well; not only soundalike but look-alike as well, with a genuine love and feel for the music and performance. Tonight York is Sam's Town.
