A pretty tall order, really. All those complex time signatures, ethereal vocals and superb groundbreaking musicianship from Wakeman, Howe, Anderson, Squire and drummers Bruford, White etc, setting new standards and boundaries in the 70s. There must be easier bands to base a tribute on, but, like the originals, that's the nature of Yes fanatics. Perfectionist, obsessive, super-talented and squeezing every last ounce from every last note. Spanning Time And A Word through most Yes Album classics (Yours Is No Disgrace / Starship Trooper / Perpetual Change / Your Move) and Fragile (Heart Of The Sunrise / Long Distance Runaround / Roundabout); the WHOLE of Close To Edge (awesome ...); as well as material from Going For The One and Relayer (Gates Of Delirium). There are plans to feature Topographic Oceans later in the year (!). Your correspondent can vouch for this band; they are a genuine labour of love.
