With 100 million albums sold, the legendary Californians fused punk, metal and blues to become the epitome of classic 90s rock 'n' roll, kicked off by heavy MTV rotation of Welcome To The Jungle. Founders Axl Rose and Izzy Stradlin were heavily influenced by Hanoi Rocks, ACDC and Aerosmith but the band's image was finalised with the addition of the iconic Slash. And it ended in tears. But if you missed arguably THE most rock 'n' roll band of the 90s first time around, this is as close as you'll get.  A few things about G2R you may not know ... first tribute band to play London's Hard Rock Café; Steven Adler (!) toured with them in 2006; headlined Glastonbudget three years in a row; only tribute to sell out Cavern Club two nights in a row; hosted the official Premiere for Chinese Democracy in London in November 08. They're busy all around the country but we've got 'em to York, ladies and gentlemen this is the one of the very best and lovingly recreated tributes around and tonight, G'N'R are very much alive.
