Say what you like, but punk began and ended with The Sex Pistols. There were bands with a political stance, some mods, some poppers, some rockers and most just jumping on the bandwagon. But whether or not the silly sod with the sneer advertises butter or appears on Help I'm A Celebrity, you can't take away the world-changing impact of John Lydon & Co. Town councils in uproar, questions in parliament, and a sea change in music, fashion and, yes, the world.
