Founded 2000 by Josh Middleton as a bunch of kids who just wanted to play thrash and death metal, Reading's Sylosis are raising the ghost of thrash with the modern magic of technical metal, foregoing downtuning and breakdowns in favour of frantic hammered riffs, wide-bend solos and machine-gun drumming.
