Radio 2 A-playlisted for In Your Light, South Devon's finest singer-songwriter beautifully blends early 70s folk rock and 60s wistfulness with a touch of Nick Drake and Elliot Smith. And fans of early Rod Stewart, Tim Hardin and Credence Clearwater Revival will find much to like, but there's also a strong contemporary nod to Damien Rice and Jose Gonzales. Supports at Wembley Arena with Emmylou Harris and Mark Knopfler (who has offered to guest on a track) as well as KT Tunstall have garnered fans from everywhere including Jo Whiley and ... ahem ... Landrover who used "Going Home" as an advert soundtrack in December 2008. "If I were to try to describe my music or my sound", says Jon, "I would say 'Green' ha ha. Seriously, I guess I have a soulful, slightly gravely voice and I'm into roots, blues and folk". Exquisite material sung from the heart on his sleeve!
