Jeffrey Lewis is the coolest nerd on earth. A university graduate and comic book connoisseur, writing off kilter anti-folk songs with literary lyrics, tutored picking and a dash of punk rock spirit. But don't take our word for it. Having toured with Devendra Banhart, Jarvis Cocker, The Moldy Peaches and The Fall he's got more than enough big names to back him up when the bullies come knocking. With his spidery folk band The Junkyard, fifth official album "‘Em Are I" was released to rapturous reviews in early 2009 and wowed the beardies at All Tomorrow's Parties. They come to The Duchess for what promises to be a VERY special show.
