Local muso-superhero Mike J is back with another instalment of his new band breaking series. Putting his DVD, show and CD producing powers to use presenting a new line up each time, these are shows with plenty of energy and a whole lot of talent. Dark ‘n' moody subject matter is given a light tough with bright keyboards, the odd streamline synth and 80s flourishes by headliners Pacman Quack! With Paramore-esque vocals from frontwoman Jenna, they've got clouting choruses and a brilliantly silly name. Tonight they're ably supported by Littlemores' laid back ska meets lazy Kooks and nervous rock twitching of Eskimo Sandwich.  And a late addition to the bill, the excellent Hot Recruit.
