Balancing studio-slick with devil-may-care sloppiness; southern rock with '50's R&B and Louisiana swamp-rock. It's The Band and John Mellancamp's heartland singalongs, it's the bluesy melting pot of Little Feat and 1970s rock-goes-country Rolling Stones and most of all, this five-piece delivers! Where most bands are lucky to have one good songwriter, and super lucky to have two, the Texan twisters have three poets delivering at the top of anyone's lyrical game. Original bar-band country and Americana doesn't come more real.
