So this is Christmas, and what have we done?  Funny you should ask 'cos you can get yourself to The Duchess for Turbo's annual event (which this year is for York And District Mind) where  bands and performers give their time to raise money on this special night normally reserved for kids but on this occasion for musicians.  Even bigger kids.  It's the usual eclectic line-up featuring yule log legends-in-their-own-soundchecks.  Coming down the chimney last will be Turbo's Boss Caine with the usual coffin country, messed-up Americana and blues and all in that scary basso profundo.  These days more garage than Texaco, THE FEDERALS are promising some MC5 / Black Lips / Louie Louie type mayhem as only Feakesy & Co can.  Crackers!  Providing a little coffin country will be old St Nick himself, GT TURBO and BOSSCAINE.  And the sixpence in the cake is the FUZZ ("It's not retro it's just good taste") CLUB DJs.  Enough to fill your sack to overflowing!  Silent night?  Maybe not ...
