Teddy Thompson is a seething ball of malcontent brought up on a diet of classic country music, merging the writing skills of Dad with the vocal grace of Mum; not a bad start. Carefully avoiding a tacky Nashville twang, here are real songs of heartbreak; bitter lyrics and intricate pop. Introspective maybe but never dreary … with echoes of U2, Springsteen and Jackson Browne, there's plenty of foot-stomping to go with the melodrama.  Highly recommended!  RESCHEDULED FROM SEP 29 - ALL TICKETS STILL VALID.
