Several years ago, Jason Feddy washed up at Laguna Beach exiled from a life of excess in Northern England, reeling from personal and professional failings and a major label deal that dissolved unceremoniously. Previously courted after tours with Neil Young, Christy Moore, Ben Folds and David Gray, the offers dried up amidst personal crisis and he ditched his guitar and packed his bags. "I was emotionally spent ... and I was up to no good. I needed to get the hell out."  It's true to say, Jason writes from personal experience and not watching daytime TV.  To the uninitiated, Fedders is one of the UK's finest singer songwriters; sometimes criminally ignored but able to wring emotion from grains of sand and with an acclaimed back catalogue bigger and better than most of the last ten years' troubadours put together. His is a grainy voice dripping with soul, lyrically sentimental but brutally honest drawing on harrowing personal times and you have absolutely no excuse not to see this shining diamond of heartbreaking, uplifting, truly truly wonderful songsmithery.
